In this project, we help you create the Floral Petal Power Treasure Trove Laser Cutting Build.
This intricately designed wooden box is a stunning piece of laser-cut craftsmanship. The floral motifs on the lid and the sides are delicately carved, giving it an elegant, lacy appearance. Build guide
Note: the project should be cut from 3mm plywood. Step 1. Select and prepare your materials - Plywood: Choose stains or dyes to be applied after laser cutting to enhance the natural wood texture. In the example, I used the same colours, but it would be better for the lid to be two colours. Step 2. Set up the project design files - download the design file from the provided link shown on the project page. - extract the archive to view the design. - load the design into your preferred laser software. Step 3. Adjust laser settings as required - Don't resize; otherwise, the project won't fit together. Move the pieces around to fit onto your plywood. - Set the appropriate laser parameters: - Cut: Specify power and speed for clean cuts. - Score: Specify power and speed to ensure the scoring can be seen after applying stain or dye. - Review your laser cutter’s documentation for material-based settings. Step 4. Start cutting the design - Place your chosen material onto the laser bed surface. - Run the cutting and scoring process for all required pieces. Step 5. Carry out post-cut cleanup - For Plywood: Wipe smoke marks away with a slightly damp rag. If you still need to, apply the wood stain or dye. Step 6. Carefully assemble the design - Use appropriate adhesives: - Wood Glue for plywood. That’s it — you’ve completed Floral Petal Power Treasure Trove!
